Privacy Policy

KabuMart sets out the following policy regarding the handling of personal information and related data collected through the KabuMart website, APIs, and related applications.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information relating to users, including personal information, personal data, and related identifiers, collected in connection with the KabuMart service.

2. Information We Collect

  1. Account information: name or nickname, email address, login credentials, and related authentication data managed through trusted providers.
  2. Billing information: subscription status, billing history, and payment metadata such as payment IDs or tokens. Sensitive card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by KabuMart.
  3. Usage information: access timestamps, IP address, user agent, browsing logs, cookies, and similar identifiers.
  4. AI-related inputs: prompts, uploaded files, generated outputs, conversation logs, and feedback. Users should avoid submitting confidential or highly sensitive personal data unless necessary.
  5. Contact information: name, email address, inquiry content, and attachments.

3. Purposes of Use

  1. To provide the service, verify identity, and manage accounts.
  2. To process subscriptions, billing, and fraud prevention.
  3. To respond to inquiries and send important notices.
  4. To improve the service, develop new features, and maintain quality, including through aggregated or anonymized analysis.
  5. To comply with laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.

4. Cookies and Analytics

  1. KabuMart uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain login state, understand usage, and improve functionality. Some features may not work correctly if these technologies are disabled.
  2. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics may be used. Depending on configuration, page views, dwell time, referrers, and similar data may be shared with the provider under its own policies.
  3. KabuMart does not currently run third-party behavioral targeting advertising. If this changes, the policy will be updated and any required consent will be obtained.

5. Third-Party Sharing and Outsourcing

  1. Personal data is not provided to third parties without consent except where permitted or required by law. Payment-related data may be shared with payment processors where necessary.
  2. KabuMart may outsource parts of its operations to cloud vendors, payment processors, analytics providers, and similar vendors, and will supervise them appropriately.
  3. KabuMart does not currently conduct joint use of personal data. If joint use is introduced, this policy will be updated accordingly.

6. International Transfers

Information may be transferred to countries or regions where cloud, payment, or analytics providers operate. Such jurisdictions may not have the same privacy protections as Japan. Appropriate safeguards will be implemented as required by law.

7. Security Measures

  1. Access controls and strict credential management.
  2. Encryption for transmission and storage where appropriate, plus operational logging.
  3. Staff education, confidentiality obligations, and vendor oversight.
  4. Internal processes for incident response and recovery.

8. Requests for Disclosure or Correction

Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of their retained personal data, subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.

9. Information Related to Minors

Minors should use the service only with consent from a legal guardian. Requests made by a guardian regarding a minor's data will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

10. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated without prior notice as laws or service content change. Material updates will be announced on the website or through another reasonable method.
